Mark is Partner and a creative director at N2-Helsinki, a 70-person studio focusing on business problems around export, demand, and market development. Mark is co-founder of N2Comms, a unit focussed on policy issues and development.
Mark is also a partner in Architectural Democracy, a collective devoted to creative solutions to increase stakeholder engagement in urban planning.
Mark is also an actively involved investor in startups in eWaste and hygiene and is working to help Finland export its skills in competency certification and power electronics.
Mark serves as trustee of Common Purpose, the global leadership development organization, and is a former member of the Advisory Board of Cambridge Judge Business School.
Mark’s work in regulated sectors (resources, energy, agriculture) has led him to appreciate the value of policy-makers who are tuned in to what constituents actually need and value, vs politicized characterizations in mainstream media. He believes Driving Change will fulfill a noble purpose if successful in attracting talented young people to public service.
