Shiva is the head of multimedia and community at Driving Change, as well as a freelance podcast and content producer. She has produced campaigns for global brands such as Refinery29, Facebook, and MTV. For the past 3 years she has been covering refugee artists’ stories in Germany, where she grew up. Fluent in Farsi and German, she was able to spend time at refugee camps in Greece, where her interviews with Persian and Afghan artists have inspired her ongoing work with European NGOs to shed light on the peoples’ lives in the camps. She holds degrees in International Business Law and Fashion Design. Currently based in Brooklyn, she views the world as a canvas filled with history and resilient stories she aims to tell in different media. After all, it’s stories that bind us all together.
